Teamwork Health is a growing private practice focused on pulmonary and sleep medicine, with two clinic locations in Cary and Fayetteville, North Carolina. We’re building a high-performing, patient-centered program with a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and teamwork. We are hiring experienced Physician Assistants who want a long-term role, stability, and the opportunity to grow into foundational leadership as the practice expands.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with meaningful clinical experience—ideally with prior exposure to pulmonary, sleep, cardiology, nephrology, intensive care, and/or hospitalist medicine—to join our rapidly growing practice. This role is positioned for candidates who want to be among the founding Physician Assistants at Teamwork Health—helping shape workflows, improve care pathways, and contribute to a durable, high-quality clinical operation.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with pulmonary and sleep conditions, including follow-up care and longitudinal disease management
Provide high-quality care for medically complex patients, including those with overlapping cardiopulmonary, renal, and post-hospital needs
Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver efficient, coordinated care
Document clearly and timely within the EMR; ensure strong clinical communication with referring providers
Support a culture of operational excellence: help improve clinic flow, patient access, and care coordination
Participate in practice growth efforts by contributing to protocols, quality initiatives, and team training as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re specifically looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
Pulmonary | Sleep Medicine | Cardiology | Nephrology
ICU / Intensive Care | Hospitalist | Inpatient Medicine
Strong foundation in managing chronic disease and complex medical decision-making
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-stage clinical environment
Team-first mindset with excellent communication and reliability
Interested in a long-term position with stability and upward growth potential
Qualifications
Current North Carolina PA license (or ability to obtain)
NCCPA certification (PA-C)
Minimum 2+ years clinical experience preferred (more experience strongly valued)
Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader clinical team
