Leading Allergy practice is searching for a Physician Assistant in Rockville, Md. Out-patient only. Work M-F w/ 2 half days a week! No weekends or call! $115k - $130! Candidate will provide care to patients of all ages but with a heavy pediatric population. One year of experience as a PA a must. Will train for Allergy. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to build long-term patient relationships in a low stress environment!
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Physician Assistant (PA)
Diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage acute and chronic allergy related illnesses
· Conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical history
· Food desensitization
· Ordering and performing diagnostic tests and procedures
· Prescribing pharmacologic treatments (depends on state regulation)
· Performing minor procedures
· Counseling and educating patients about preventive measures
Education & Experience: Physician Assistant (PA)
Must have a PA program degree
Current valid state medical license
- Board Certified PA
- 1+ years’ experience a must.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
